Provided by YP.comi guess it's best to call first. There were no breakfast items shown/listed for the 6am open. Tried to call to confirm and there was no answer. Seems like the website should be updated.....one way or the other.

Provided by YP.comI'm from state college PA and I moved to NJ and therefore me and my husband always make a trip back to state college to see my family a few times a year. Every time we go to state college we always stop at Funcks for a great breakfast and sometime we get lunch there. We enjoy the quick service and how friendly the staff and the people that go to funcks. Its a family atmosphere type of place so a great place for families or just to stop along the way if you are going some where like us.

Provided by YP.comWhenever we travel I81 through Pennsylvania we look forward to stopping at Funck's Family Restaurant for a great lunch. They have a large menu of sandwiches and "home cooked meals." I love their "tuna melt with Texas toast." Great service! So nice to find a great alternative to the national chains... with some local flavor!

Provided by YP.comFunck's has been around forever, and its obvious why! There is plenty of seating, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is good. It is a very nice family restaurant. We have a toddler, and she loves it here. They are great with kids. The menu is huge, and the portions are a nice size. The kids menu is wonderful as well. For $4 my daughter can get chicken nuggets, french fries and ice cream for dessert! Their fried chicken is DELICIOUS! This is a regular place for us to eat. Yum!

Provided by YP.comWe stopped at Funck’s on our was to New Jersey. It was a bit farther off the interstate than we like to go, but the drive was worth it. They have a nice size menu. (Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches & Wraps, Appetizers, Soups and Salads, Dinner aand of course, Takeout) I ordered my fav sandwich- the grilled Reuben. It had very good tasting corned beef and the best tasting sauerkraut I have ever tasted. We loved the food and our waitress was every bit as good as the good. Lots of local charm. This place is on the list of places to stop at again.

Provided by YP.comEvery time we are in the area, we stop at Funck's. The food is good--no negative surprises. The service can't be beat. The value is definitely there. And the local color abounds--they have an eclectic gift shop and pies to die for. Parking is free and so are the smiles.

Provided by YP.comWe stopped here because we wanted a sit-down restaurant. The service was great, never had an empty drink, and when we asked for something it arrived almost instantly.

Provided by YP.comBreakfast was good twice in the last year. The dinner & lunch items are very expensive & not really edible. old, commercial, greasy, salty, leftovers. Not comfort food at all!
