Do not board your dog here. Very overpriced and misleading with their quotes. Was told they charged $30 for my dog to stay there one night and they charged me $60. Told me it was $30 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday. I dropped my dog off at 11 am (they close at noon) and picked him up at 5:45 (they are only open from 5 - 6 pm on Sundays. Absolutely a misrepresentation and misleading claim. Overpriced for the care given to my dog. Will never recommend this company to anyone.

My wife and I take our dogs (Rocky and Apollo) here for boarding whenever we go on vacation. The suites are nice and the boys appear to have been well taken care of. They get walked and let outside to play when its nice. Naturally they are happy to see us when we return, but they seem to get all excited when we take them back to the Ankeny Pet Salon! We have a suite booked for them in May already!!!

I've had my long haired cats shaved there every summer for 5 years. The one person who was rude sold the business to someone who has worked there for 10 years. I think they really care about my cats and me.

We have been taking our yorkie to the Ankeny Pet Salon for 1 1/2 years. Along with our yorkie (who adores everyone there), we too think the staff there is outstanding. They are all very caring about their furry customers and treat them like they are their own animals/family. Their facility is very high tech for a pet salon, clean, and their staff is well-trained and very friendly. Never could I imagine taking our dog anywhere else, Coopers Mommy

We have a beagle mix and a boston terrier and they love this place. We are able to board them together in one area which they like. They take the dogs out 4 times a day which is important for us and the pets. I never worry about them when they are at the Ankeny Pet Salon. Thank you for taking care of Lily and Bridget for us.

We take our two mineature schnauzers to Ankeny Pet Salon and have for the past 17 months. They have totally different coats - one is fuzzy (more like a little black lamb) and the other smooth and coarse. Both come out looking like perfect little schnauzers every time! We've tried a lot of groomers in the past few years and Ankeny is truly the best.

Bad experience - you would think that an owner of a company that is all about service, she would go the extra mile. Our experiance was something much less than that. We will not return.
