Founded in 1899, Veterans of Foreign Wars is an organization that provides complete services for the betterment of the veterans, military and communities. Based in Kansas City, Mo., the organization serves a large number of states in the United States. It provides national veterans service, transitioning, troop support, post military assistance and national military services, among others. Additionally, it renders compensation and benefits, health care, vocational rehab and employment and home loans amenities. Veterans of Foreign Wars also offer several scholarships, flag education and other community serving programs.
