Because I said sometimes my vision gets blurry when I drive they said it is a medical claim and not a vision claim and therefore charged me more money. The doctor said my vision gets blurry because my eyes get dry because the air from the car vents are blowing on me. I turned the direction of the vents, no more dry eye and no more blurry vision. Because they are greedy and wanted more money they submitted it to my insurance company as a medical claim this means I had to pay a 250.00 deductible and 20 percent after that. If it would have been submitted as a vision claim my insurance would have paid 100 percent. They will not change it because they said I have dry eye syndrome which makes it medical. How is it dry eye syndrome when it went away after turning the vents. I will never go here again and will tell everyone who asks about an eye doctor to stay away from these people

My daughter see's Dr. Arnold and he is the most talented children's Optometrist. It is a small wait, but they at least they have a nice waiting area. My daughter is special needs, and they are a very professional and thorough. The only reason you may wait is these Dr.'s really care. I just got a message that her new glasses are ready. The people in the glasses department tomorrow will take the time with my daughter to make sure her glasses fit her correctly. Unfortunately she can be rough on her glasses, and this isn't her first pair.... I am pleased with Ophthalmic Associates and would highly recommend them.

No Way

This office is horrible! I have MS. My dr refered me to Dr. Rosen because of effect MS was having on my eyes. The 1st appointment I made was 3 months out. Well, I forgot and never got a reminder call. Then I made another appointment that was 1 month out. They called me to let me know that their machine was not working and if I still wanted to come in or reschedule. I opted to reschedule because what's the point if it can't be a complete appointment. Rescheduled for another month out. I finally was able to get there. Checked in at approx 10am, after waiting 20mins I was called to do the prescreening with the machines. Went back out to the waiting room, sat for 1hr then asked the receptionist if they were behind. She called back to Dr. Rosen's office and was told that they were. I understand it happens sometimes so I went back and sat down. At about 11:45am I asked the receptionist again if I was close to being seen. (I would have appreciated someone just letting me know) She calls back there and tells me "I don't know." So I ask if I should wait a little longer or just reschedule. She then calls back and asks..they (in the back) tell her to reschedule me. She asks if she can put me on the "emergency list" (or something like that...you get the gist) They tell her no. Receptionist reschedules me for another month out. They never called and I never went.
