We were assured that we would be made aware of every step in the process of building our dream home. We were informed that we were $56,000 over budget after we were already 5 months into our build. We asked on several occasions to be informed if we were going over and were told by the builder he couldn't tell us because he had not received the invoices, later we found out he had them for the past three months. We asked for the invoices and were told that if we continue to question the overages that the house would cost us more money, now we are being told we are $74,000 over budget after we had to get an attorney involved. Stay away if you know what's good for your wallet.
