Alaska Geographic is a nonprofit bookstore, publisher and educator of Alaska's parks, forests and refuges. The organization assists people in exploring Alaska by providing resources and information. Based in Anchorage, Alaska, it offers 26 accredited classes through Alaska Geographic Institute. In addition, the organization publishes more than 100 books, maps, films and free visitor guides. Alaska Geographic is also the official partner of Alaska's 15 national parks as well as 16 national wildlife refuges. It operates bookstores in 48 locations throughout the state of Alaska.
