If the man who comes to your house is named Edward Zozaya tell him to get out and dont give him a penny. The man is a shyster, con artist, and overall a untrustworthy person. Will come by and have everything sound great, the first couple days of work will look great, and hell come with a full crew. Fast forward a couple days and the crew drops to 1 or 2 people. On top of that expect him to constantly run into money troubles and ask for a advance, which will produce about a day of good work before he disappears again. Edward and his workers will not show up for days at a time if you refuse to give him the advance he wants. He especially seems to prey on 1st generation Asians. He had asked my mom to help act as a translator between him and another prospective customer. When the customer got cold feet and decided to back out, Edward had the nerve to tell my mom that unless the new customer paid, he would not be able to work on our house, even though my parents had foolishly already paid him the remaining balance owed. We had already paid for countertop installation, and he still wanted us to pay for it even though we had previously given him the money for this project. To top it all off on the last day we caught him packing everything up, he took 2 cans of paint that my parents had bought with their own money and tried to hide the fact that he did by taking two old cans of paint and covering it up. My mom accidentally left a pair of glasses in his car and this thief refuses to even give her those back. STAY AWAY, he will tell you he is ex Air Force, tell you what a christian man he is, and even take you to his home in Montclair to show you his work. Dont fall for it, Edward is nothing shy of a thief.
