The Anaheim Union High School District, founded in 1898, has an enrollment of more than 37,000 students. It covers over 45 square miles, including the cities of Anaheim, Buena Park, Cypress, Garden Grove, La Palma, Orange and Stanton in California. The district operates more than 20 educational institutions. Its schools offer an international baccalaureate program and the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. The district also supports the community through adult education programs and special education programs for handicapped students. Additionally, it provides vocational instruction through the transportation academy and the building industry trade association academies. Located in Anaheim, Calif., the district also provides programs in music, art and athletics.
