Mr. Chapman was hired to represent a case. He showed up for court as he said he would. He was very disorganized and forgetful (understandably for attorneys with many cases). He seemed to want to negotiate and not got to trial. After the hearing, a new court date was established, but I fired him in advance of the date. My new attorney did not agree with anything that he did. I asked Mr. Chapman for an itemized bill, because he did not legitimately earn the full amount that I paid him. The secretary kept telling me that they would get back to me and a month passed with me calling weekly and to no avail. Finally, he answered the phone and told me that he would not give me a bill and when I while I was discussing the ethical reasoning, he decided to hang up on me. He is very unprofessional and I do not recommend him to anyone. He has represented people, whom I've met and they have not had anything good to say about him. Seek professional legal help elsewhere!
