I brought a glass piece that was damaged to be repaired. First I called and described the situation and was told to bring the damaged item over. I pulled up to meet a santa claus looking man in a tye dye shirt named Mike and his wife who very much resembled the wicked witch of the west. He took the broken piece from me and told me he needed some supplies. I quickly left and returned with what he asked me to get him. I asked him how long and he said 2 days. Two days passed and I had to make several attempts to get him on the phone. At this point he let me know he was retired which he does not say on his website nor did he mention previously. He again asked for another 2 days which I gladly gave him. Upon calling about 8 or 9 times over the course of a few days I finally got a hold of him again at which point he said he put the piece back together but it no longer can stand up. I said I would come by and take a look at it. It looked like a 5 year old glued it back together. I told him this was not going to be sufficient since the piece needs to stand upright. He again asked for a few days and said he would try something else. I went away for a week and upon returning I had to again call him many times over a few days to get him on the phone. Mike brashly stated he didn't get a chance to do it. I realized he is just lazy and just likes to talk but isn't very good at keeping his word. I told him I would just come get it back and he said he was sorry I wasn't satisfied with the service. Not satisfied with the service? All he did was effortlessly glue it together. I could have asked my infant nephew to do a better job. I came back to pick it up and caught his witch looking wife off guard. She explained he didn't get a chance to do it. I replied that he told me he only needed two days and it has been weeks. I also reminded her this was my third drive over there for nothing. The witch was quick to get angry at me and screamed that she didn't give a damn whether it was fixed nor did her husband. AVOID KEY WEST GLASS BLOWER. He must have moved away from Key West because the low quality work that he does was not able to keep a steady supply of customers coming in. This is not a real business, do not waste your time trying to work with Mike.
