James Miner, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and specializes in coronary artery disease, cholesterol treatment and hypertension. He received his medical degree from Indiana University Medical School and completed his internship and residency at the University of Florida (UF) Jacksonville campus, where he capped his tenure as Chief Resident and continued to his cardiology fellowship at UF in Gainesville. Dr. Miner previously served as a clinical professor at the UF College of Medicine and was appointed Director of Clinical Cardiology at the Memorial Medical Center in Jacksonville. He brings more than 30 years of experience to his current practice and he values the trust and confidence his patients place in him. Taking time to get to know each patient on a personal level, he pays attention to their concerns and makes sure they leave knowing what to expect and how to deal with their health issues.
