Founded in 1959, St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church is a Christian religious institution. Based in Alpharetta, Ga., the church has various ministries responsible for numerous programs, services and activities, including High School Ministry, Stephen Ministry, Youth Basketball, Hands of Christ, Drama Ministry, Bereavement Ministry and others. The church also offers religious education for all ages. It also organizes regular programs including Sunday Eucharist, Weekday Eucharist and First Communion. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church had received the Parish of Excellence Award, naming it as one of the 100 most excellent Catholic parishes in the United States in 2001.
