We confirmed our reservation the day before pick-up, as required by the e-mail. When we arrived 20 minutes before we were schedule to pick up our car, we were told there were no cars available. The manager told me I was "overreacting" because I called the corporate line to ask if there was anything they could do to find us a car (we had a nonrefundable hotel that we couldn't get to without a car...). Still haven't heard back from corporate.



After standing around for about an hour, they offered us a 12-passenger van that could be swapped out the next day, which we couldn't accept because we were driving to Canada for a long weekend trip. Annoyed that we wouldn't accept such a ridiculous vehicle for two people, the manager tried to track down some other vehicles, and told us she found one for us but it would be an hour or so. We went to lunch, returned an hour later, and were told the car was in Connecticut (2-3 hour drive from Boston-- so I guess there was never really a car available). Eventually, they gave us the number for Peter Fuller Rentals (who were so, so helpful-- highly recommend using them!) Someone from U-Save dropped us off at Peter Fuller-- but the wrong location. Fortunately, Bob at Peter Fuller Rentals offered to drive us 20 minutes to the correct location. Bottom line: DO NOT USE U-SAVE. The entire business is completely shady, and the workers were so rude. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.
