Lied to again and again



I had first decided to use them after reading the 2 most recent reviews and someone suggested they are only a few blocks away. I figure it can't go wrong, but was I wrong. I guess anyone can post a review and I wonder if they didn't post it themselves or have a friend do it but whatever the case, I wouldn't trust these guys with anything and I dealt with them first hand. Don't say I didn't warn you.



On 3/25/10, Thursday morning. I called to ask for an estimate on 2 glass panels for a door. Tim says he will go and measure it that afternoon and call me back with a quote. Late afternoon I can't find Tim but reached Vern. Vern says he didn't know about the order but will measure it out and get a quote to me early next morning. The next morning I called about the quote but Vern didn't get a chance to measure it yet so he said he will get to it right away. Friday afternoon I got a quote from Vern and was told it was of standard size and it was in stock. They get deliveries Mondays and Wednesdays and Vern said that I will have it Monday morning installed if I give them a deposit. I give them my credit card info with a 50% deposit and asked Vern to order it right away, I need this installed ASAP. I called Monday morning Tim gets on the phone and tells me that it is a special order size and it takes 5-7 days because of the tempering. I said Vern told me he had called the factory on Friday, it was of standard size and it was in stock if I wanted regular glass instead of tempered, and that they can get delivery on Monday. Then Tim said he will call the factory right away to see when they can have it and will give me a courtesy call back. I waited but no answer. I called him back in the afternoon and he said they will have it definitely by Wednesday morning. I said fine but please make sure you get it. He reassured me that once it comes in they will have it installed. I called Tim back on Tuesday just to confirm that we are still scheduled for Wednesday and asked him to confirm it with the factory. He will, again, give me a courtesy call and I said please do that. After a couple of hours I didn't hear from Tim so I called him back and he said yes, it is definitely schedule for Wednesday morning. They get there deliveries in by 8:30 - 9:00 am so he will give me another courtesy call once it's in. I said please call me back in the morning by 9:30 am whether it's in or not. Wednesday morning rolls around and I called the office at 10:00 am and no one answers. I called the other number and no one answers. I kept calling until almost noon and then had someone swing by their shop to see what's going on. The shop was closed and a signed said they will be back soon. This was 11:50 am. I tried to call again but they won't answer my calls. Then I had someone else call them from a different number and they answered right away. We asked weren't they suppose to be installing the glass for me that morning and Tim tell me that Vern is at the factory picking up the unit. What happened to the delivery for that morning??? After that, I never heard from them again. They shut off their cell phone and switched the answering machine in the office to pick up on one ring. These guys are a cheat and a liar. I can't imagine what kind of an operation they are running but with guys like them I regretted giving them my credit card info. I recommend you shouldn't even waste your time on them. I called my credit card company and requested a new card, I don't know what Tim might do with my info.



Totally avoid them, don't say I didn't warn you.



PS - I tried to publish this without any stars but they won't let me so bear in mind I give them no stars, if anything I would take away their stars if I could.

* Cons:Don't waste your time with them. BTW, there are no pros.
