If you live in Central NJ, the violin doctor is the place to go! If you live far away it's well worth the ride. I've been going there for years and have purchased many things from them and had a lot of work done on my fiddles. Looking to buy my third fiddle from them. The service and friendliness is amazing. And they actually know everything about violins, unlike other stores like jacks in red Bank. They will let you borrow violins and will work with you to help you get the best one for your needs. The owner of the shoppe also makes outstanding quality violins. My only issue with them is sometimes we ha e miscommunication problems, but hey, it's all good. If you want a violin or fiddle DONT go anywhere else other than the violin doctor. You won't regret it!
