Fall Risk Assessment

This includes an assessment of your home environment as well as obstacles, which include rugs, lights, and stairs. We also assess equipment that has already been installed to help you avoid falling and injuring yourself.

Balance Testing & Scoring

Using tools that have been standardized through medical research, we assess your visual balance. This type of assessment is typically recommended by doctors and family members since it can help protect seniors who live by themselves.

Transfer Training

Transfer training assesses your ability to move from your bed to your wheelchair, your wheelchair to your toilet, and your ability to sit and stand. This evaluation ensures you can safely manage daily activities. If you are not confined to a wheelchair, we also assess your ability to use a regular chair.          

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise increases your range of motion, strength, and balance, which gives you a great level of independence. You will use different weights and a Thera-Band® to complete exercises detailed on a written handout.

Gait Training

Gait training improves your ability to navigate and walk with canes, crutches, or any other devices necessary. You also learn to safely go up and down stairs using your device of choice.
