I went on Dec 2, 2008 for an oil change but unfortunately Walmart vehicle service shop was closed so I proceeded to the Sunoco gas station on Kingstowne Blvd. I noticed a vehicle service shop name Yates Express Lube in which an oil change can be done as little as 10 minutes. I thought it was great until Yates Express Lube charged me $122.91 for the service in which it was insane if you asked me, hopefully they gold plated the oil. I had no option but to pay for the service. I don't recommend Yates Express Lube to anyone, why waste your money there when you can pay $52.96 at your vehicle dealership service department.

My boyfriend went in for an oil change this weekend. They checked his car and told him he needed to replace the heater hose and thermostat. These two parts plus oil change plus labor should have cost no more then $200... The bill totaled $666.13. And after all that was done... the car would not even start! The mechanic check again and said he would need another $2200 in work for the car to run again. Can anyone tell me how a perfectly good car goes in for an oil change and then won't run without almost $3000 in work. Needless to say, we have towed the car for a second opinion and are going to file with the BBB.
