David the jeweler is honest, straight-forward and talented. Designing an engagement ring is a big step but he advised me of the costs up front and surprisingly much more affordable than I expected. Services at this jewelry shop in Old Town Alexandria, VA are fantastic.

Gold Works jewelry store in Alexandria, VA has a great staff with friendly customer service. My experience with them has been wonderful. Their handcrafted jewelry is true to their craft and very high quality. I recommend them for everyday jewelry pieces to special occasions.

Our son had his fiance's engagement ring designed here and the work is astounding and the prices even better.

You won't find jewelry like this anywhere. There are a lot of jewelry stores out there an a lot of different pieces of jewelry in those stores but most of those pieces are mass reproduced. When I found Gold Works jewelry store in Alexandria VA I was delighted and amazed to see the craftsmanship and uniqueness of his work. He took the time and showed me all the things that I was interested in and was forthright on cost and time to design custom jewelry. I'm looking to design a special ring with my birth stones and a couple diamonds and David whipped up some quick ideas that I love. He's has owned this shop for over 25 years and I highly recommend him if you want to own a special piece of art.

My fiance bought my engagement ring from a different Jeweler. We had many issues with their service and we were recommended to check out David @ Goldworks. We came in early on a busy Saturday and David took the time to assess our wants and needs and helped us come up with a game plan to customize a new band. He is a busy guy but he kept us updated through e-mail with pictures and details as to where he was in creating an image of the new band. He adjusted everything to my needs as I changed my mind a few times :) Once the model was finished it was sent to cast and was back and finished within a few DAYS!! The ring looks INCREDIBLE and fits my Diamonds and my finger perfectly. Highly Recommend David for custom, knowledgeable, reliable work.
