I too would not recommend this CLINIC due to YEARS OF NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES much the same as brokenpart’s. The whole process was a nightmare & everyone in the wait room complained feeling like a “head of cattle”.

Understand the need for rules but they went from strict to Nazi –like. No quarter given for fibro pts with severe memory problems & fibro-fog. LOTS could be done to treat us better. Reminder calls, better chairs, etc. Really felt that my handicaps were NOT ACCOMADATED!!!! Visited recently & NOTHING IN WAIT ROOM HAS CHANGED!

FELT my fibro was NOT treated well – would NOT prescribe Lyrica, the new “gold standard” for fibro then. My non-fibro diagnoses & medication interactions I had weren’t allowed for. He didn’t want to hear about & even RIDICULED me for trying alternative medicine. What’s “fad” today is standard medicine “tomorrow”. FELT he only gave me pain medicine which only masked my pain & NOT TREATED MY PAIN.
It has taken me a long time to realize that the DOCTOR WORKS FOR ME & THAT IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY CARETHEN FIRE THEM! Conversely, your doctor can also let you go if he/she feels they cannot help you anymore. It is very hard not to take this personally. It may help to “rehearse” these situations so you will be prepared. I recommend that you explore all your options NOW. Don’t wait until you are in crisis, which leads to misunderstanding between you & the doctor.
If you want to take an active part in your medical treatment make that one of your interview questions when you are hiring a doctor. Keep up with new treatments for your diagnosis & if you start to have new symptoms that you feel aren’t being addressed look elsewhere. Not every patient & doctor will connect.

BTW, I do not doctor shop and have been with this group of doctors for almost 30 years.



THIS IS BASED ON MY PERSONAL EXPERENCE WITH DOLE & WHAT OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN UNDER HIS CARE HAVE TOLD ME PERSOANLLY. IT IS BASED ON FACTS AS I KNOW THEM. I HAVE TRIED TO MAKE IT AS OBJECTIVE AS POSIBLE.

I created this account just so I could write this review. I was diagnosed with several back conditions ranging from spinal cord impingement to degenerative disk disease. I sought care for pain from Dr Dole as referral from my primary care dr. His office staff is consistently rude, his waiting room is jammed with suffering patients (with horrible chairs) waiting 2-3 hrs, the rooms and bathrooms are filthy, contacting the Dr for issues between appointments is impossible.
I have never been so disappointed in a Dr. I begged for different treatments, tests, anything that could help other than just meds but was ignored or dismissed. I was required to come to additional appointments ($$$) because I wasn't taking enough meds according to my drug screen. His staff is awful....rude, hostile, horrible. I wish I could give less than 1 star.

Starts out compassionate and caring, but have surgery and he'll mess with your fears, meds, and leave you hanging in the wind in pain.

He is a thief and lie. He charged me all kind of cash and after he got all my money lied to let me go. Told me he was God. Does not vare about our pain. I can't believe hes. Still practicing

I honestly cannot give this jack���� a single star. I intend to have them investigated. Please stay away there should be a skull and cross bones on.

I have multiple back disorders with sever pain preventing me from sleep and work. Well he decided to take me off all meds and detox then come back. Well I did, and the whole month was ridiculous in pain, but I show up for the appt to talk to him. He put me on the lowest pain med he has and nothing for sleep! I even took it into my own hand to get an MRI done because he refused to order me the MRI, we'll I brought the results back which showed multiple lower back degeneration diseases including disk disease, disk hernia, arthritis on spine, spinal stenosis, facet disease bone disease, and multiple more that developed in only 6 years. Well, like I said I brought it and he did not even want to look at it. I refused his RX because I knew it would not help so he took me back to yet another room and told me that he doesn't like my attitude and that he is letting me go. He never even let me talk. DO NOT GO SEE THIS RUDE DOCTOR. HE DOWN NOT TRY TO HELL PAIN NOR DOES HE CARE ABOUT THE PATIEMTS NEED. LIKE I SAID HE REFUSED TO DO AN MRI AND I WAS LEFT UP TO ME! I WISH I CONF GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR. HE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY STAR AND ONLY CARE ABOUT HOW MSN PT'S AND MORE HE GET. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATWD THIS WAY BY A DR. STAY AWAYNFOR HIM!!!!!!!!!

Not at all attentive to needs!! Act as if they had a problem doing their daily job!

If I could give a lower than 1 star I would..Dr. Dole is a nice person but has not did much to control my pain even after me notifying him. The staff is unfriendly and he ordered an MRI which I was just handed and stack of papers with no instructions and told I have to find an MRI clinic on my own and bring that paper into to them to make an appointment and they had no info on any clinics. Also I am required to pay co-pay for each and every visit even though I have never had to do that with the insurances I have and I have never received such poor quality care from any physician or made to feel of such little concern from them about my care.

Any dr that tries to force more pain meds than one needs should find another profession. He is very strict which is Awesome considering how many people abuse pain meds. Problem is being forced to take more than needed just because he prescribes them. He does not have good patient manners and is not able to correctly diagnose

It makes me sick to my stomach to see people saying such awful things about Dr. Dole on various review sites, and giving him a bad rep. Dr. Dole is the best pain management doctor I could ask for. I will give my opinion on these horrendous "reviews": The people ticked off with him?? You have to pass a strict drug test every visit, and he doesn't play around. He is NOT risking his hard earned license(RIGHTFULLY SO, this coming from a girl with several medical professionals in her family and knows how hard they work for that license) just so you can have pills to swallow like candy for "fun". So sorry if some of you were unable to con this hardworking man into your "monthly fix" but that isn't what he is there for, and you should NOT SLANDER HIS NAME for doing his job. He is there TO HELP PEOPLE WITH LEGETIMATE CHRONIC PAIN ISSUES. As for the waiting time?? There is a lack of doctors in his specialty in the area. He spends the amount of time needed with each patient, AS HE SHOULD. Of course there will be a long wait time, bring a puzzle book and quit griping.



I got my world turned upside down a year and a half ago when I was diagnosed with Severe Stage 3 Endometriosis. It hit me out of nowhere, and most people don't understand how painful of an illness this can be for some people, like myself, who have a more severe form of the illness. So getting proper care for just the pain alone was near impossible. Living a normal, fuctional life was not possible for me.



Dr. Dole evaluated me upon our first meeting after taking the time to read up on my case and what I was dealing with, and recommended a course of action, not only with medication, but also proper diet, exercise and other everyday habits to practice for me. He quickly found a combination of medication that worked for me in the sense to help me live a normal(though not always perfect, meds don't fix everything) life. If something is not working for me, he will adjust the issue. If I have any concerns, he adresses them.



Furthermore, he has great bedside manner. He always remembers my name, and my husbands name. He lets me cry and vent if I am frustrated with my pain/illness, and will do his best to console me with an explanation to why "said issue" may be happening. He is always courteous to ask how we are doing, how our life is going, and how our drive was(we drive 2 hours from home to see him, we trust him THAT much). He has never been anything but nice to us, and has never given us a reason to regret the 2 hour trip to him. Looking for someone in our own area has not even been an option, if we have something good, we stick with it, and this is the case with Dr. Dole.



I know that one day, may it be a few months or many years from now(but hopefully only a few months!!), I will be free from my illness, as well as my pain, and will no longer be required to be a patient of Dr. Dole. That will honestly be a sad goodbye for me, because doctors like him are a rarity. There are the ones that go through the motions and do the required tasks to get through the day and get the paycheck, then there are the ones that remember their patients, know them on a personal level, and genuinly care for their well being, HE is one of the good ones.

If you are legitimately struggling with chronic pain, or issues of that sort, and your life is hindered because of it, I absolutley recommend asking for a referal to this medical professional. If you read everything I wrote above, you will see that he is a doctor of wonderful quality and expertise, and not your shady "pill mill" type clinician just wanting your money. Also, if it is worth the 2 hour drive for my appointment with him, that should tell you something.



Bottom line: He gave me my quality of life back.

This doctor evidently doesnt care about his patients. The waiting list in the front is 3 to 4 hours long. Then in the back its at least an hour. And God forbid something happen between scheduled visits. I complained about a knew back pain i was having a week or two after my appt. I notified his nurses to try to get another visit .They told me it would be 3 months before I could see him again. The pain was so severe I couldnt lay on my back to sleep. So I went to the hospital and took X-Rays, MRI;s, blood tests, etc. They noticed a mass on my lung. So I called the nurses back to report the findings at the hospital to Dr. Dole. He had his nurses tell me he still wouldnt be able to see me for another 3 months since he was taking a vacation. The hospital told me the next thing to do was a biopsy. I'm scared to death. Dr; Dole wouldn't even talk to me on the phone. This situation is still going on today. Well, my visit finally comes up with Dr. Dole. He doesnt examine me at all. He doesnt offer any references to other Doctors I should maybe talk with. He tells me he hopes I start feeling better. And now I have a funny feeling he is trying to get rid of me. WHAT IN THE HELL KINDA DOCTOR IS THIS. IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE DONT GET SCAMMED INTO THIS DOCTORS CARE. AND THIS IS THE GODS HONEST TRUTH
