Excellent Dentists!!! Billing Practices Suck!!!



You have to pay upfront (which I don't mind), then they bill your insurance company. When your insurance company pays them (which generally takes about 30 days), it usually causes you to have overpaid your bill. What they do then is keep your over payment and you have to call them in order for them to mail you your overpayment check. And they will only send those checks out on the 1st and the 15th of each month.



So, please if you will be using their dental services keep up with what you paid and what your insurance company paid. Or their office will be sitting on a pretty hefty amount of YOUR money. Don't leave it up to them because they claim to not have a system that will automatically send you an overpayment check. But I'll betcha if you owed them, they will send that bill out ASAP! It's not fair that we would have to pay them upfront and then when they owe us, we have to call them to send us our payment which we will not get until after the 1st or 15th of the month!



If I could find another dentist that takes kids under 5, I would leave them simply due to their less than favorable billing practices.
