Before coming here, I had tried another Indian Restaurant and was unimpressed. Taj Palace changed my mind about Indian Food. Their buffet is wonderful, it changes every week. Ok..so I have been there a few weeks in a row. The restaurant is attractive, the wait staff is also attractive. Yeah ladies, these guys are eye candy. The wait staff is friendly and you never have to catch anyone's attention to get drink refills-even when they're busy. The food is delicious, kept warm and satisfying. If I could, I would go everyday.

This is the best Indian food I have had in years!! The service is very good and the ambiance is perfect!

Don't be put off by the strip mall. Albuquerque is 98% strips malls. There are several Indian restaurants in town, all blanded out to American taste.Taj is different. I waited for this place to open, being tired of driving to Santa Fe for good Indian food. Now, there is good Indian food in Albuquerque. The Taj serves food that is fresh and delicious. Seasonings are just right. You can request the degree of "hot" you prefer on most dishes.Clean! Ample parking.

This was my first visit to Taj Palace. I'd had Indian food once before-(but I won't say at which restaurant) and didn't much care for it. TAJ PALACE changed my mind. We had the buffet and it was so delicious. Friendly staff, good price, very nice setting. Can't wait to go back again.
