We just had Brad (owner) and Joyce out to take a look at our garage door. It's been making this horrendous noise and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a safety problem. Brad checked it out and determined that it was due to friction. He applied some silicon lube and the noise stopped. We paid our nominal fee and thought that was the end of it. As they were driving off I closed and opened the garage door again and it made the same noise as before. Brad and Joyce heard it from the street, stopped and came back to take another look. Brad spent some more time lubing the track but couldn't get the noise to completely stop. He refunded our fee because he couldn't fix it and didn't feel right about charging us (even though we were completely fine with paying it). He assured me that it was not a safety issue and to call him in a few weeks if it didn't go away (giving time for the lubricant to completely coat the track). He didn't try to get us to buy a new garage door opener even though that is likely the only way to make the noise completely disappear (it's related to the style of opener we have).
Through the whole process (setting the appointment, moving the appointment, and calling to let us know they were on the way) the communication was clear. When it is time for a new garage door opener or even just routine maintenance, we will definitely be calling them for the work!

My garage door decided to stop working. I called Sandia Garage Door on Monday morning and Brad was there waiting to install the new opener on same day. He was very professional and down to earth. The price was the cheapest around. Great experience.
