I purchased what was supposed to be an olympic bar. The standard weight of which is 45 pounds. Upon weighing my bar on a scale it weighed 35 pounds. Meaning the bar I was sold was an "Olympic Style" bar. When I called the store to report this, I was told there was nothing they could do. Furthermore, they stated they do not know the actual weight of the bars the purchase. Nor do they care to know. They simply rush the product on to the floor and charge the same price for all bars that appear to be Olympic 45 pound bars. Thus demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge of their products, and a lack of willingness to stand behind the quality of their sub par merchandise. I informed the manager I would write a review of my experience. To which he cheerfully replied "go ahead."
