BUYER BEWARE! Worst experience ever. I hadn't been to a dentist in many years. I was nervous about going. The visit was very comforting. Everyone was very nice. But once the x-rays were done they told me that I needed to have a tooth pulled and an implant put in and I needed two root canals and a deep cleaning. I thought that was suspicious since the tooth they wanted to pull wasn't causing me any pain. I decided to go for a second opinion to a dentist that my coworker highly recommended. When I went to the 2nd dentist they told me that I only needed two root canals. That the tooth that Dr. Tran at Albuquerque Modern Dentistry wanted to pull had a ton of tooth left and there was no need for that. So here I am two root canals later and a deep cleaning later and everything is fine. If I hadn't gone for a second opinion Albuquerque Modern Dentistry would have pulled a tooth that didn't need to be pulled! Oh and can we talk about the cost difference? Albuquerque Modern Dentistry was going to cost me $8,600 (with insurance!) and the amazing place I just went to cost me $2,600 (with insurance). If you go here and they suggest a big procedure...please go get a second opinion. Go here at your own risk.
