I have found this martial art to be the perfect compliment to everything I do in life. This is truly the school of life mastering. It has blown me away. I'm thrilled. Great atmosphere and great people. So positive. So effective.

This place is great. I always feel welcome, I've lost weight, and I'm really learning how to defend myself.

I have never seen anything to compare with the depth and wonder of this art called Shsaolin Kung Fu.I have trained at many different styles of martial arts in the US and Korea, including TaeKwanDo, Wushu KungFu, Aikido, and Shotokan Karate and read extenseively concerning the history and Masters of different martial arts. The school environment is one of exceptional encouragement and knowledge, and a unique ability to impart that knowledge. I have never seen egos or bad attitudes. The 18 classical weapons include rare forms like Tai Chi Broad Sword, and 'Hsing-I Straight Sword. The improvement to helath goes beyond simple conditioning. 1500 years of Shaoling knowledge have helped improve my health as well as strength, flexibility, and conditioning. Any one seeking to start or broaden their martial art should stop by and talk to the instructors, other students, and watch a couple of classes. They will find they have come home.

Clearly the best martial arts school in Albuquerque, hands down. The content is incredible. This is the school to go to for the real deal. Unselfish system that gives all the secrets with a lifetime's worth of material!

I can't say enough good things about this place. Most complete martial art from the Orient. I feel better in my late thirties than I did in my late teens! I'm hooked!

If you're looking for extensive and comprehensive martial arts, the Chinese Shaolin Center is a treasure cove of knowledge. There are animal forms, chin na (quick solutions to someone messing with you), more than just the 18 classical weapons, more internal arts than most internal masters even know about (tai chi, ba kua, xing i, meteor fist, hua to, various other chi kung, etc.), massive amounts of conditioning, and more. The instructors are awesome. They're motivational and knowledgeable and this pretty much applies to the rest of the instructors, masters, eldermasters, and grandmaster (who actually visits albuquerque to teach us new and exhilarating forms). Its pretty cool that memberships are transferable, so if you're traveling a lot you'll have locations outside of New Mexico that are available to you, as well. The chinese shao-Lin Center has everything that you could ever imagine and want. Highly knowledgeable instructors and a great atmosphere with the rare art of Shao-lin kung fu....I was lucky to find the place.

My experience at the CSC is wonderful. I was a first time student, I had never been in an environment like that before. I was made to feel comfortable and accepted from the moment I first walked in. The teaching is fast paced but there is never any hesitation to slow down. There is a vast amount of material to learn, this is offered in such a way that I never feel pressured into advancing faster then what I am comfortable with.

While the physical material alone is totally worth it, they offer all the background and history to said material. Where it all comes from, why and how. Who and what. Amazing the amount of information that you gain! I went into this school just looking for something to do to help me get some physical exercise and have found so much more!!! Truly a unique and fantastic experience I would recommend anyone that is interested in martial arts to just stop by and talk with the instructors. Come and see for yourself!

This is the best martial arts school that I've seen in Albuquerque. They focus on the real application of ancient material, history, and culture. They do everything from Tiger Claw to Tai Chi Chuan & Chi Kung, from Staff to Sword weapons. Every class is supercharged with energy and I leave each time with a wealth of information to digest and a load of ancient techniques to practice! My mind has never been sharper and my body has never felt (or looked) better!I began at the UNM credit course on campus and I loved it so much that I enrolled at the Center. I can't imagine my life without Shao-Lin now. It has been incredible!
