Buyer BEWARE!

Charlies has always been a little higher but I like giving hometown retailers business. Not anymore. Seems like the almighty dollar is the only focus here now. I purchased a high dollar hunting pack and during testing prior to my hunt I found out it has a design fault and constantly squeaks, which doesn't work for a bowhunter. When I took it back I was told I would be charged a restocking fee. When I said I was never informed of that, I was shown where it is printed on my receipt. Wow, it cost me $40 with a restocking policy that was not stated upfront BEFORE purchasing. Even if I would have returned the item before leaving, it would have cost me because the policy is given to you on the receipt AFTER the purchase. SHADY Charlies...SHADY! I paid $40 for someone to walk 10 yards and rehang the pack? Wow.

I have NEVER had an issue returning times at Sportsman Supply...Much LARGER items. They know how to treat their customers. Sorry Charley, not coming back.

I have been a customer of Charlie's fromt the time they opened shop in "72. They have always customer friendly. I do enjoy having a cup of coffee, a donut and meeting up with old friends on Saturday mornings.

I have been a customer at Charlie's since they opened in the 70's. Charlie is always a pleasure to deal with and now Valerie has taken the helm and the feeling is still the same. Charlie the gunshmith is the BOMB. Always dependable.

i went to charlies for the first time.staff was hovering .i tried to buy a henry rifle,the gun guy made me wait, the staff was standing around talking to each other .there was a grouchy old man staring at my 3 year old grandson my grandson did nothing wrong.this place is very unfriendly, i bought a henry elsewhere. i will never go there again

You will not find a better place to visit. Very helpfull staff, great products and services.

I was visting from out of state and was heading for the San Juan River for some flyfishing. I knew very little about the river, the fish, or the native insects. Chuck not only took the time to point out the best flies and good spots to fish on the river, but showed us how to rig our leader and even lent me some waders since I had not brought my own. Everyone a Charlie's was very helpful and attentive; they're first class in my book. Charlie's will now be on the list of places to visit when in Albuquerque.

I have known Charlie since he went into business. Very friendly and totally honest....a good outfit to trade with.

I've been buying rifles and pistols from Charlie's since I have moved to the Albuquerque area. Everyone is nice and Charlie and Val are great. They are always helpful and honest.

Guns and rifles are my hobby and I really enjoy collecting them. Charlie's sporting goods is alway there to help me add the extras to my guns and rifles that make them look great. Thanks, I really appreciate you guys always being there when I need to get the job done.
