Welcome to Car Crafters! We are a locally owned and operated shop in Albuqeurque, New Mexico and have been in business for over 32 years. When he was younger, owner and founder Jim Guthrie developed a passion for racing which led to a knack for fixing cars. He started repairing cars for friends and family out of his parents garage. When their cul-de-sac reached it's capacity, Guthrie's parents told him to stop and focus on college or get his own body shop. In January 1982, Guthrie chose the latter and started Car Crafters in a one car garage. Today, Car Crafters has a 70,000 square foot facility right in the heart of Albuqeurque. Car Crafters has been named one of the Top 10 Shops in the nation 3 years in a row by ABRN Magazine (2011, 2012, 2013). We were also named "Best of the City" for Collision Repair Shops by Albuqeurque the Magazine.

We wanted to fix our sunroof and the guy we were dealing with NEVER calls back, even when he says he will. Their quote was expensive and their service was slow and shoddy. We won't be using Car Crafters anytime soon for anything.

I was recently damaged the front end of my vehicle. I was surprised not only how quickly my vehicle was returned to me, but how great my car looked. Everyone there was courteous. Bruce was exceptionally nice and thorough. I highly recommend Car crafters. Thank you Dorian
