First off, I have never been late or missed a payment since being here. For January's rent, I did it online via their website as I have done in the past. This time there was an error and it kicked back my payment. The ladies at the office told me that they were having issues with the online payments but I would still need to get a written letter from my bank stating that I had funds available at the time. My bank will not write letters on my behalf due to liability reasons, but they printed me out a detailed day-by-day funding in my account. I received a call from the assistant manager of Cantata today saying that her manager will not accept the statement. So now, I am being charged a total of $167.90 for an error that was not mine.
