Beartooth Exploration offers complete environmental and ecological services to municipalities, state and federal agencies, development and mining companies, engineering firms and environmental specialty firms. We serve clients in several market sectors including education, retail, parks and recreation, telecom, utility services and transportation. As part of our ecological services process, we typically flag and label site features and collect GPS data in the field. The GPS data is used to create a site features base map, typically in a GIS, that depicts the general location and shape of wetlands within a projects study area. Our clients and the State and Federal regulatory agencies with jurisdiction can use the site features base map as a guide to review the physical flagging Strategic biologists tie in the field for construction-related avoidance and minimization.
