I took my dads old chainsaw in for repairs. I was contacted after about 5 weeks that they were unable to fix the chainsaw due to the age. It is about 40 years old. I went to pick it up and I was handed a bill for almost $50.00 to "diagnose" the problem. I had to pay to get the saw back. I immediately saw why when they brought it out. They literally handed me the saw back in a bag. Totally disassembled and a jumble of parts. I told them that was unacceptable and I wanted it put back together, like I they got it originally. The owner told me I would need to pay an hour labor for reassembly and wait another 4-5 weeks. I would not do that, and took the saw home with me. I let the saw sit in the garage for almost a year before I decided to take it to another place. They said it was a great older Stihl and said he thought they could bring it back to life. 3 days later they called me and said they were able to fix the saw with a few parts that were about $30.00 and one hour of labor. I went the next day to pick it up and they had it all put back together, running, clean and the chain sharpened. Under $100 to fix this chainsaw. The guy at the front told me it was a great saw and he was a collector of older saws. He offered me a substantial amount of money for the saw. I declined as it was my dads saw and I wanted to keep it for sentimental reasons. He said his offer stands whenever I am ready to sell it. So had I trusted the fools at Aragons I would have thrown the saw in the trash because that is what they told me and they even put it in a bag like it was trash. They will treat your items and you as a customer like trash. This place deserves to go out of business. I drive by on my way home sometimes praying I see the place boarded up forever. I hope the Aragons who may be good people, finally accept that they are terrible business owners and retire before they rip off anyone else.

Took a saw in to have the wrap around handle replaced and asked for a tune up (plug and carb rebuild) as well as sharpen the chain at the same time. Picked it up and made the mistake of not trying the saw while still there. Drove all the way back to Los Lunas and discovered it will not even start. Went back and left it. Guy working the counter said it was his cousin that did the work and "he is just learning and getting the hang of it". Left it and went back to get it the next day. He started before I left, it ran pretty rough and smoothed out some. To be fair it was cold and I took the saw. When I got home it attempted to cut with it. Not possible. Would not run well enough to make a cut. Took it back again. The lady said they would have their best mechanic look at it. I asked about some compensation for all the extra trips back and forth as a result of them not doing the work. They said absolutely not. After a total of 5 trips back and forth with the worst work ethic and integrity I have ever seen I now have a saw that works. If you take your equipment to them be prepared to keep them honest every step of the way. There are too many other great shops out there to be treated poorly.

I have used Aragon’s for lawnmower and generator tuneups/overhauls for 15 years, now. I live out in Grants now, but I still take all my small engines to them. They have always done exceptional work.
I have never dealt with a rude counter-person or had a bad encounter over the phone.
The only downside I have experienced is the wait time (4 weeks) to tune up a mower and generator in May 2019, because they were so busy at that time. To me, that’s a testament to their good work.

Terrible experience, these guys don't know how to fix a chainsaw, and their customer service is only good when things go smooth. If you have any problem with a purchase like I did, you will get nothing but a headache from them. BEWARE!

rude service

Absolutely one of the worst experience ever. The big guy behind the counter is a looser. Rude the moment you walk in. Cant believe anyone like this could stay in buisiness
