My wife and I stayed at this pathetic dump on Aug. 16,2012. I cannot understand how AAA can recommend this filthy little motel. When you drive into the entrance, the first thing that catches your eye are the filthy, filthy, blinds on the filthy windowThe room was certainly nothing to write home about. My wife took the spread off the bed and there was a bug in it. Everytime you flush the toilet , you have to take the tank top off and seal the drain manually or it just keeps running. My wife worked in the hotel business and before an AAA inspector came by, they made sure everything was ok. I would venture to speculate that there has been no one from AAA checking out this pit for quite some time. I booked this through hotels.com and I will never use them again if this is the type of crappy motels they list. My booking said I would have bereakfast in the morning. When I checked in I was told coffee would be available in the morning. We checked out at 8:00 AM and I went to return the key and the office was locked. That was just as well, because I don't believe I would have eaten or drank anything out of that particular office. I am sure this letter will go into file 13, but I felt these things had to be aired out. The next time I take the trip to Roswell.
