Called Midway for back-flow prevention testing at my house. Scheduled the time and verified the price on the phone ($45). I never saw them come do the test, so I called to verify that they had done so. They confirmed, but then the local municipal government sent me two consecutive letters saying that the test had NOT been done, and that I might be subject to penalty if the testing deadline was not met. So I called Midway back and informed them of the situation. This time the secretary said that the test had not been done after all. "Oops." I expressed my frustration and then they came out and finally did the test. Unacceptable for me to hold their hands and hound them to do their job. And THEN, wait for it, the bill was for $50 instead of the agreed upon $45. At this point I had lost all patience and told them I would not pay one single cent beyond the $45 we previously agreed to. They never took ownership of their unprofessional shenanigans but said that they would honor the $45 fee even if I was "confused" about it. Unacceptable. Avoid Midway Plumbing.

You know that this is family owned and operated as they treat you as their family. They make sure that your questions are answered and that there are no charges that you weren't aware of. I really like this company and will use them again in the future.
