Awful Customer Service: I just ran over to this dry cleaner on my lunch break and am absolutely shocked at how rude the woman working there was to me. I brought a jacket that still had a stain on it that was dry cleaned by her store last fall (I just recently took it out of the plastic to wear and noticed the stain was still there) and asked whether it was worth putting it through again or not (telling her I would pay to do it again, too). She snapped I don t know and stomped off. Icing on the cake is I just had close to $200 in dry cleaning done by their operation a month ago and she was the one who helped me at that time. I don t think that I have ever encountered anyone with such a nasty attitude in the service industry. It was absurd given the circumstances. Maybe she thought I was trying to get a freebie, but even if that was the case she could have dealt with it a whole lot better. In addition I should have been notified they couldn t get the stain out when I picked it up last year (though I should have inspected it at the time, too). If anyone knows of a good dry cleaner in the area I would appreciate any recommendations. I ve discovered they are few and far between.

Brought in Pea Coat for yearly cleaning and it came back with ripped inside lining. It looked like it got caught on something during the cleaning process (scratch marks on the inside lining which pulled the stitching. I brought it back and they said that it was not their fault. They would not even give me the $15 it cost for the cleaning. Never do business here!!

I don't usually write reviews but I am doing this in the hope of saving someone else from the grief, stress and abuse I received from Capitol Cleaners. I brought a $200 dress here and when I took it out of the packaging at home the dress felt stiff. I brought the dress back three times, the last time to have a stain removed that they didn’t notice the first two times. Each time I interacted with the owners they were rude on the phone, wouldn’t listen and kept insisting I was wrong. When I went to pick up the dress the last time and asked for a refund of my $15 the owner stuck her finger in my face and said if I didn’t get out she was calling the police. When I asked why she was reacting so strongly to a question she screamed “get out”. I have never in my life been treated like that by someone, much less the owner of a business.
