Albany Jewish Community Center is a nonprofit social service agency providing opportunities to promote Jewish preaching through worship, study and services. The center offers a wide range of educational, religious, youth, adult, and community programs. Its programs include aquatics, cultural arts, early childhood, fitness, recreation, camp services and programs for teens. It offers an onsite program and satellite programs for school age children, as well as afterschool programs, such as swimming lessons, free swim, homework room, gym time, science, arts and crafts, organized sports and baking. The center houses a fitness center with swimming pools and a full size gymnasium for members of the community. Albany Jewish Community Center offers special programs for senior adults, such as meal services, blood pressure screenings, yoga, current events discussion and transportation services. It is located in Albany, N.Y.
