I love renting from them the customer service is excellent in the price is on point

NEVER RENT A CAR FROM BUDGET:
Unfortunately this business is the worst on the list of car rental companies. The company has potential but they are never going to reach it.

The car had stains on every seat and smelled smoked in. Their selection was limited and I was forced to keep this vehicle because I could not find another rental on such short notice.

The exterior had multiple dents, scratches, and pieces of both fender and bumper missing.

They penalized me for paying for the car in advance online by forcing me to place an additional $100.00 deposit for this disappointing eye soar of a vehicle. If your looking for a great vehicle, then go to Enterprise or Hertz. I've had amazing experiences with both of these companies.

I scheduled a truck rental online on August 5, 2014. I provided my credit card and received a confirmation email that I was set for my rental. I was to pick the truck up on August 14,2014 at 9:00 am. The rental location called me at 5:30 pm on August 13th (the night before I was to pick up the truck) to tell me that a truck was not available. I was supposed to move two daughters to college at 9:00 the next morning. One to Kent and one to Bowling Green and I got less than 14 hours notice that I had no truck. We had friends lined up to help us move the items out of storage and into their apartments and appointments set for utility activation and all of a sudden now no way to get my girls where they were supposed to be. Needless to say I was out of my mind MAD!!!!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone for any reason if they were the last company on earth. I called their corporate office to see if they could find me something but got robotic little "customer service" helpers telling me they could not do anything I would have to wait until tomorrow to get help with locating a truck. After lengthy discussion of their ineptness I gave up and cancelled my reservation and told them I had better not see any charges on my card. I called UHAUL and was able to get a truck reserved. THANK GOD for UHAUL. DO NOT USE BUDGET!!!!! This is no way to treat customers. People arrange time off from work, enlist help, have schedules and appointments related to moving, and rely on the "company" to hold their end of the bargain only to receive less than 14 hours notice. It's interesting to note that the company will charge your card $50.00 if they don't get 48 hours notice. Do you think they offered any help monetary or otherwise? Heck NO!

I reserved a car with 2 days advance but they called me 10 minutes before my pick up and told me they don't have a car. I called the customer service and the representative told me they have a car near me but I should pay more than double the reserved price! They may seem cheaper in the website but they will rip you off later!
