I called to receive a estimate for my home driveway, the owner Fred came out with his son James. Both gentlemen were very knowledgeable about asphalt. Also I had received multiple estimates and their price was the cheapest. The girl in the office was very nice and a pleasure to talk to. I have since reccomended them and all has went great. Thank you for you service.

We have used the services of Barberton Asphalt and Paving for well over 20 years. The previous generation owners were great to work with. The current generation do not care about customers. Our last parking lot patching & sealcoating in July 2017 was of very poor quality. We contracted to have the cracks in the asphalt filled, apply patches to existing asphalt and to apply a seal-cote to the existing asphalt. The work they performed failed to repair the cracks and the patches they applied started to disintegrate in less than 1 month. In Aug 2017 I contacted Ghenne Tucker of Barberton Asphalt and Paving and explained to her the outlined problems. Ghenne told me at that time that our property would be placed on their "re-do list" for them to come back to the property and correct the problems. After a month passed, called again. I was told to "be patient" and was told again that we were on their "re-do list". Needles to say, Barberton Asphalt and Paving never came to our property to correct the defects.
We have done business with them for many years and had always been pleased when the parents ran the business. The current generation does not keep promises. All I desired was for Barberton Asphalt and Paving to keep their promise. When a business keeps its promise, it communicates to the customer that they are valued by that company.
I contacted the BBB to help mediate the defects in the work that was performed. The BBB was great to provide this service, the response from Ghenne Tucker was "I am sorry that he is unhappy but there is nothing more can be done for him".
We will not do business with this company any more.
