I have used Ato Zoff for furnace repairs for several years. I needed them today, they showed up promptly, and performed the needed repairs quickly. The service man was courteous and profressional.

I may never call them again however since the same service recieved in 2006 for $85.00 now costs $240.00. This nearly 300% increase seems unwarranted. The reason given is that they have gone to "flat rate" billing, (it means the customer's wallet is to be left "flat").

Good service, but not a good value. If He had had the part in the truck, he would have been in and out in 30 to 40 minutes max. I was considering a spring air conditioning tune-up, but will have to shop it around.

If you don't have an HVAC service company you trust, I would keep looking. The service call lasted about 2+ hours and ended with the service tech selling me a $200.00 thermost I probably did not need, and taking a pic of the boiler as a reference to order other parts he thought I may need. As a temporary fix, he called his boss to get an ok to bypass wiring so that the flu would stay open. never got back with me with a price on any parts. I had them back out a few weeks later because my boiler wasn't kicking on at all and was told it was a lose wire. He secured the wire and promised to call on replacement parts prices. Never called. The boiler was acting up again (not coming on) so I called Blind & Sons. Their tech discovered that the flu was in fact fixed in the closed posistion and not opened as a2z said. That would explain the headaches and coughing my wife, mother-in-law, and I had for 2 months. My wife is a heart patient, and her mother is on Oxy. @ night.
I have contacted a2z twice to no avail. They have put the burden of proof of their mistake on me.

Nice enough to visit on a Sunday but then tried to rob me blind for repairs. Diagnostic and parts to fix a broken furnace were quoted over $1000. I found OEM parts online $130 and did the repair myself in an hour. Could have good equivalent parts for as little as $80. They tried to rip off what they must have thought was a stupid, helpless senior citizen. Pitiful. Avoid this company.

Ryan was professional and informative during his repair on my air conditioning. He answered all my questions and explained what to do to help maintain and check for future maintenance. I also got a proposal in case I need a new one! Thanks Ryan M.!
