While out for a drive, we decided to check out Afton, which is five miles south of I-94 at exit 258. We found the most intriguing little shop called Squire House. It specializes in various plants and vines, but what I especially enjoyed was the variety of unique gift items available. They have a very interesting variety and the people are so helpful too.

I love this store. It's not a huge place, but most times I stop by I wind up taking home a great plant that I've never seen anywhere else. The prices are very resonable and you can get all the help/advice you need from the staff. The display gardens are beautiful and have interesting combinations of plants that helped me to plan my own gardens. Just a great saturday visit.
