We used Puddleby when we lived in NH. It's an excellent kennel. When we first introduced our puppy the owner told us to leave her with them for the day.. We did and, much to our delight, found the owner had taken our puppy into their house to socialize her and give her love and on top of all this we weren't charged! Puddleby has a special place in our hearts..

I have brought my dog here before and had an uneventful experience, just the way it should be. The reason I am writing this is to respond to the two people below that say their dogs came home with kennel cough. To the best of my knowledge, you are supposed to get your dogs inoculated against kennel cough before ever bringing them to public places, especially kennels! I think it could even be a law. So, who is the irresponsible one here? Just sayin' maybe your pets aren't up to date on their care.

Would definately never recommend this place. Left my dog over a weekend. During this time she was exposed toxic flea powder they used on the dogs and lestoil type products used to clean the very small plexiglass pens they live in (also toxic). When we picked her up she looked at us like she was in a daze - no excitement. A few minutes after that she went into severe grand-mall seisures. Had to rush her to a neurological center as we almost lost her. When asked how she was with other dogs, I was told that they don't put them outside with other dogs. So she had no play time and was out only to do her business. I saw where the dogs are kept and it certainly is not what I would consider a spa. Outside appearances are nice but in the many times I have stopped in, I have not seen a dog out. Appearances are not reality here. If you love your pet - I would not recommend it.
