Been training here for quite some time. So my review is not just someone who came here and was disappointed from a few tries. Martial Arts is a discipline and originates from peaceful monks who at times would need to fight in order to protect their lands.

The training is hard and pushes you. If you're NOT looking to be pushed and make improvements in your life then maybe this isn't the place for you. If you wanna learn to push yourself and strive improve then this IS the place for you. I've seen loads of people come through the doors saying they wanna "become a fighter, learn to defend themselves, or wanna get in shape." Well to do all those things requires discipline, something that Martial Arts World teaches as their backbone.

I have seen troubled teens come in and literally change their lives. They went from incredibly low self confidence and anger issues to leading speeches in front of their graduating High School class. All through the training and direction that they received from here.

I know this review seems incredibly biased, but what review isn't. I've been training for a longtime and I know what is good and what is bad. I've literally traveled the world and been to hundreds of different Martial Arts schools. However, there is no place like the one here. In that at the things you gain are not only physical, but mental as well. The overall development I've gained from training here has spilled over into so many things that I do. Be it my work or my hobbies, I can attribute my focus and discipline to my training at Martial Arts World.

This place is phenomenal! It's been in business since 1999 and same owners since 2001. My children absolutely loves the after school program, they learn not only the physical training but also about positive thinking etc - they call it mental success.
I train myself and the quality of Master Robertson teaching is top notch - he has over 30 years experience and you can feel it evertime he speaks. Each class is different and he comes up with different ways to kill us - I mean work us out. Amazing work out for you body. The place is like a second family because I have become great friends with the fellow students.
They also offer yoga classes to compliment the martial arts. Those classes are also amazing and it has totally changed my flexibility and knowledge of my body.
Can't say enough good things about this place. We are happy to be here.

The summer camp was a joke. Kids are watching kids, very little adult supervision going on. Kids are wondering around outside going to the fast food places by themselves and crossing Tuskawilla Road by themselves. No sheet to sign your child in or out. My kids were miserable here, will never go back.

The after school program is a joke! Very little training going on, my child constantly came home with homework unfinished because it was too chaotic and loud to concentrate. Kids were left unsupervised, and the final straw came when I walked in to a room full of kids, unsupervised, and one child was choking another with his forearm, and had him pinned against a wall. Choose any other after school program, this one is awful!!

My son is part of the after school program and I train myself in the evening. Master Robertson is a challanging master who truly cares about the improvements of all his students. His staff are all wonderful caring people. This place has a positive effect on my family.
