We hired Rainier Construction to design and build a new custom home for us in 2015. We have heard the horror stories of building a new home, however we found our experience totally opposite. From the very beginning, Rainier Construction along with their designer listened to our wishes and designed exactly what we were hoping for. Throughout the construction project, we were always kept informed of any issues or items that we needed to select. This was a custom home and never built before, so items did come up requiring their expertise to keep things moving smoothly. Rainier Construction performed the construction process with professionalism and courtesy. We now have a wonderful home at the price we were expecting for the market. If we built another home, we would certainly use Rainier Construction!

Rainier did my home renovation. It was quite extensive as was older home. They calmed my wife's concerns about the inevitable mess , as they were very diligent about plastic protections and cleanup along the way. A big plus for happiness and peace during the build. All in all we were thrilled with the finished project and are considering now working on the upstairs. We will certainly use Rainier again.

Poor experience. Multiple violations to my construction contract with them. Most recently a punch list that is now 10 days past due still I have no confirmation of when or even if they're coming to complete the missing parts of the job. Communication is a mayor challenge. Doors, windows and shingles got installed without my approval (stated in contract to be owner's choice). When I complained about the doors, the blamed a 6 week delay on me for changing materials.

My house was open (missing doors) for about 2 months when they tried installing doors without measuring them. They didn't fit and had to be taken down to be adjusted. This took 2 full months.

They started building a pergola that was not on the contract.

When I finally said I no longer wanted to work with them Mark and son asked for a personal meeting with me at my house. After he asked me to sit down he proceeded to yell at me, standing over me, pointing with his finger. After this I got a project manager to avoid litigation.
