Dr. Gittess lied to me in my intial consultation, put braces on me, took my money, THEN told me he wants to pull some of my front teeth. I got suspicious, googled his name and found lots of other very negative reviews about him. I then went and got a 2nd and 3rd opinion and both said I absolutely do not need the tooth pulled and to do so would be a big mistake. The only person it would benefit was Dr. Gittess' wallet.Based on this experience, I decided it was not in my best interest to continue with Dr. Gittess. I changed doctors and Dr. Gittess continued billing me for services not yet rendered. I refused to pay for services not rendered, so he put me into collections and ruined my credit.

I've never left a review for anyone, but when I was looking for a dentist for my son, I stumbled upon this site. I should have sued Dr. Gittess for the horrible job he did. I'll spare you the long winded details, but will say that I spoke to several of Dr. Gitesses peers after the fact and literally every single one of them advised me to steer clear because the guy's a kwack with a reputation of ripping people off financially while ruining smiles!!I really should have sued, but instead incurred double fees to go to a new dentist and have the same procedure done correctly.Tracey Flanagan

I have had two children with braces provided by Dr. Gittess. From the friendly greetings from the front office to the professional care given in the clinic, I feel this office was a perfect fit for my family. I would highly recommend this office to my family and friends. As a matter of fact, I already have!
