I recently contracted this company for one color granite and only when they delivered it did they switch it out for a cheaper color. They claimed not to have the one I ordered in stock and that it would cost 3x more to order.
I did not have time to return the top and try to find my color somewhere else and the owner took advantage of me.

I would recommend the you NOT use this company. Poor customer service. Phone calls are not returned.Company mailbox was always full so, impossible to leave a message. I made numerous calls that were never returned. When I finally did get through I was left on hold and never came back to answer question.
Paid 50% down and told my granite would be 2 weeks. It has been 9 weeks and finally the installers came. Granite was measured wrong and broke on installation. Also, template for granite around the tub was also measured wrong. Installers damaged walls and left without notifying me.
Cancelled order.

We selected American Granite and Stone to do our counter tops for our kitchen upgrade at our Wrightsville Beach Condo. Rob assisted us with the projects by helping us understand all the technical options, assisting with the ordering of our custom porcelain sink, and then taking all the measurements. We found working with the professionals at AGS to be a wonderful experience. They were straight forward, very helpful and the final product was amazing. We love our new kitchen counters and sink!!! Thanks for all the hand holding and great workmanship including addressing our punch list after the initial installation. We would definately hire them again.



Highly recommend

I was recently approached by American to return. I am a home builder and had used them in the past, but left when things seemed to fall apart there. I was told that there were personnel and management changes in the works. After seeing that they had changed out their work force I decided to give them a small job. It went without issue. I gave them a larger project with a serious time constraint and they completed it ahead of time. They are now working on a project for some out of town owners that is very difficult and they have made someone available each time they come into town.

If they continue with this effort I will bring my work back.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Worst costumer service I've ever experienced. Husband and wife-Rob and Nicki-run the business and argue where customers can hear. They tried to cancel our installation (for which I had taken the day off work) less than 2 days before. They didn't call before showing up and showed up an hour later than the two hour pre-determined window. There is a huge gap between the wood and granite in one section and we have tried to get Rob out to look at it and he says he'll come out but never does. He got our payment and so now obviously does not care about our satisfaction. I don't know how this type of business can continue. The actual granite looks very nice, but that's about it.

Extremely poor customer service from this company. We had to call them over five times to set up times for a template and the they cracked the marble without notifying us. Then we had two appointments set up for an estimate, which they said they were coming and did not. Please go with another company , even though it may cost more, believe me it is worth not having to deal with the aggravation and unprofessional ism of this company. I should have known not to hire this company when I saw the chaos and disarray of the receptionists desk , when I picked someone's 's a bill off of the floor.

Stopped by to look at granite...picked out a beautiful piece and set up apt. for template. After 3 no shows with no calls they finally came out to template on the fourth apt. Never called to set up install, I called for weeks and e-mailed. They respond to neither. I had to stop back by to receive any communication. Finally 6 months later I was finally installed even though I was told it would only take a month. My contractor built my house faster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHEAPEST IN TOWN AND THERE IS A REASON WHY! I am also not impressed with the work. I am having it scrapped and going with another Co. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!
