Provided by YPmobileWhile moving we decided to ship our most sentimental fragile items separately so that we could ensure safety. We also insured each item up to $200. When our boxes arrived they were so badly damaged (even though they said fragile on every side) that one side was even ripped open. It seemed as if someone had deliberately done all they could to damage my merchandise, obviously they had an extreme lack of concern for my property. Both family heirlooms were damaged. When I tried to claim insurance at the store, they gave me the run around and I ended up spending close to 5 hours getting everything together that I needed( all while attempting to call holding for 1.5 hours and being hung up on 3 times). Finally at the end of it all the clerk informed me that "IF" they accepted my claim they would keep my merchandise to auction off... EXCUSE ME? These are family heirlooms worth more than they were insured for in the first place. Did I not insure them in the event that they needed repair? What did I pay for? It is not a wonder that no one goes to USPS anymore.. I know my family and I will never ship through them again!
