I called Don's Truck Towing while my car was still laying on its side in a ditch and I was laying on my car door. My voice was shaky and I was probably hard to understand. The driver, Rick, from Don's asked me a few quick questions: "Was anyone hurt? Did we need an ambulance? Has the highway patrol been called?" He was prepared to take care of any and all phone calls still needed for me. He arrived in as short a time as could possibly be expected. He was calm and courteous and injected just the right amount of humor into the situation. After my car was out of the ditch, he took a shovel and shoveled dirt back into the gouge my car had left in the yard where my car had landed (due to mechanical failure). And, after my car was loaded onto his truck, on the way back home, he stopped at a gas station so I could run in and clean up. I cannot say enough great things about Don's driver, Rick! And, my charges were totally in line with what every other tow company around would charge. Very happy with the services rendered by Don's Truck Towing and Rick's ability to bring just the right touch of levity to a cruddy situation. Thanks!

A rental truck (I rented after my truck broke down) caught fire while towing my boat. City of Sedalia called Don's towing to retrieve burned rental & my boat at 1900 hrs. Next morning, 13 hrs later, arrived to retrieve my boat and the burned rental. Was charged independently for both towings, though they only towed the burned rental (boat stayed attached to rental).... Hence 1 towing.... Also charged two days storage for EACH item, charged for 10 miles towing but towed 1.4 miles to Don's lot, charged a "Lot" fee.... So total of 2 "hook-ups", 4 days storage, 4 days lot fees, 1.4 miles towed.... $488..... Was forced to sign statement that agree not to sue for charges...... Otherwise vehicle retrieval would not be allowed and they continue to charge fee after fee as they seem fit to charge..... If you get so unlucky to use Don's towing than I feel sorry for you....... See you in court Don's..... Next time choose your out-of-town victims more carefully....Signed attorney in buisiness law Kevin....
