Overpriced.

Nice staff, cute ambience. However, do not charge 60 bucks for a mani pedi that is below standard at best. I honestly left looking at my nails and cuticles in disbelief...I barely even got a massage. I am still appalled by that experience. I think the girl that did my nails was new. Who is in charge of this place, any quality standards?

I only gave this a rating of 1...

I only gave this a rating of 1 because I had to...OMG! Where do I start?? My husband bought me the Groupon deal here for Christmas last year and I had a good experience with Monique. He then bought me the monthly membership for Valentine's Day. This is where it goes downhill...

My first appt in Feb for a facial was with a girl right out of school who does not know how to do extractions so I was not happy but I asked for a different esthetician the next time.

I arrive in March for my appt with Monique and she is not there and no one called me to tell me! What's worse is they lied and said they called?? At this point I asked for my membership to be canceled and the owner refused saying she would make it better.

This is where it gets so ugly and unprofessional...First of all, half the time they do not answer the phone and don't leave a message as no one will call you back. I tried booking with Jenni-the owner- but the staff says she only books her appts by text?? Is this a business? So no one would call me from the shop to book my appt and Jenni wouldn't return my texts. So, they are debiting my bank account each month for $50 but I can't book this appt to save my life. Still as I beg, no canceling my membership...

When I finally do get my appt after much hassle it was mediocre to say the least by the owner... I did my own extractions when I got home as she was not thorough.

Now we are in May and I call in to make my appt with Jenni and no one calls me back for a week so I text her (totally unprofessional business practice) and ask her when I can come in and she asks which day I want, I tell her and no reply? I text the next day, no reply and it goes on and on.

Now we are in June and I do not have my May appt yet that they already charged me for BTW and charged me for June too on June 1st. Finally, I am asking for my membership to be canceled AGAIN as my blood is boiling and it's refused. I had to start threatening a scene in the spa in order to get my May and June payment back. I called my bank to file a claim for "services not rendered".

The worst part is the owner was rude to me as if I did something wrong. She always had some lie of an excuse it seemed as to her extremely UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS like her computer system has been down, she had a flood. I'm not kidding either... She sounded like Casey Anthony as to why she could not just schedule my appt. How hard can it be? BTW I have worked in the spa industry and I know what great service looks like, you should feel good there from booking your appt to walking out the door, not here, you will get there and your provider isn't there and they won't be very apologetic about it.

In my opinion, this company does not care about their clients and have no clue about retaining them. Maybe the owner should not do Groupon promotions if she cannot retain new clients once she gets them. I would not recommend the membership either because they take your money and then treat you like you are not important to them by not answering the phone, not calling you back, putting brand new esty's to work with no experience and making you text to get an appt which they won't reply to either. Find another spa as you will probably feel the same way I did at this place, unhappy!
