Went there about a month ago due to a hole in my exhaust manifold and asked if they could do the work. I was quoted the price of $600. I tried to save a few bucks so I showed around and found a cheaper price, the same day I got a flyer in the mail from them saying they'll beat any competition price by 5%. I took that ad back to them along with the estimate I got from another shop that quoted me a price that was almost a third of Monroe's price. When they saw that they said they couldn't do the work and told me I should go to a shop that fixes engines. Last I checked they're an exhaust repair shop and wouldn't the exhaust manifold be part of the exhaust system.

Be careful!! I went there for an oil change due to a coupon special. I then was fed a story about how I HAD to replace my cabin air filter because something really big had chewed through it. I was further told that this was a SERIOUS problem because, you know, those HUGE critters would likely chew through wires on my car and cause it to spontaneously combust! (OK, they did not know those big words, they said I should be "ah-feared" because it might catch fire.)

Well, I had a rather creepy feeling sitting there in the run down waiting room waiting for my car and listening to the service manager "manage" the customers. Sounded like a lot of people were being talked into more than they bargained for (or needed). The claim of a holey cabin filter rang hollow and I firmly declined the offer to put in an $80.00 unneeded item.

Fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. I've been to shops where every time I get my oil changed there is something that needs to be repaired or replaced on my car...they are not like that at all here. They will let me know if there is something that needs attention, but there's never any pressure.
