Provided by YP.comIf i could give 0 stars I would. I asked for a tune-up and new cable starter. I received my lawn mower back and it didn't work. I called to ask what happened, and it he laughed at me saying you would never get a tune-up if you only paid $35 for the service. So I asked him, if he checks his work after installing something. He started yelling at me and telling me that I cam talking in circles and that he didn't do the work so he can't help me. Worst customer services ever!! Worst workmanship ever. Don't go here, save your money and time.

Gross abuse of customer and service practices
I contacted Lawnmower Man in early April for seasonal service on my Craftsman lawn tractor. The owner, John Siebert, picked up the mower and returned it to his shop with my specific instructions that it needed routine maintenance (fuel and oil replacement, blade sharpening, etc). I requested that I approve any further repairs that would be required before they were started. Two weeks later I had not heard from Mr Siebert and called as to status. It took me some time to remind him of who I was and to identify my mower specifically. Mr Siebert finally acknowledged who I was and quoted me a price of $400 to "rebuild the carburetor". When I questioned this, I heard another voice in the background state, "I can rebuild it for $175." I informed Mr Siebert that I could rebuild the carburetor myself and to simply return my lawn tractor. Over the phone Mr Siebert repeatedly pressured me to reconsider their overpriced repair. Mr Siebert continued to demonstrate rude and arrogant behavior but ultimately agreed to return the mower. To confirm payment, I inquired as to what method of payment he would accept. He refused credit cards so I offered him a personal check. He refused, stating that he would only accept cash. When asked why, Mr Siebert stated it was "policy" and that he didn't have time to pursue non-payment or disputes through the courts and demanded cash. The full charge was $50 for pickup and delivery and $55 for diagnostics... a total of $105. My mower was returned on April 22. Even while unloading it he continued to talk me into the repair. I continued to refuse which prompted more abusive and rude behavior. I have always kept my lawn tractor in my garage so I was furious when it was returned scuffed, scratched, and covered with debris from recent heavy rains. These signs of neglect were also evident in the engine compartment. Currently, I am evaluating whether my blade deck has been bent. I can only speculate that these damages and weathering might have been corrected if I had agreed to his extortionist and unwarranted "repairs". I have since read many other customer reviews of Lawnmower Man's unprofessional and crude practices. I will add my review to theirs in hopes that other homeowners are not similarly mistreated.

Provided by YP.comI should have read the reviews first before I took my mower for service, but I was in a hurry. I was not sure if it was a scam until I picked up my lawn mower after I decided not to have him fix it. First of all, he asks for $40 I had already paid. Now, he knows he charges this money up front when you drop it off. The proposed charge to fix a recoil and carb rebuild was going to be $150. What? Why not just buy a new mower. Ridiculous. I get my mower back from this guy and the recoil was not put back together the way I brought it to him. Very unprofessional. Needs to be reported to BBB.

Provided by YP.comThe owner/worker was very unprofessional. I brought my mower in on a Tuesday then called back on a Friday to check on it and get an estimate on when the repair would be completed. I got an answer that he was running behind and didn't know when he would get started on it. I went to the shop and received a not pleasant greeting of what do you want? I told him that I was taking my mower to another place for repair. He told me it'd be a $40 charge because he wasn't running a storage shop. Magically, he was going to start working on my mower tomorrow after not knowing when he was going to get started on it the day before. He said that he didn't want to see me lose money, but I'd rather lose $40 than deal with this jerk!!! He's unprofessional and has no customer svc skill!!! If I could give this place a negative star rating I would!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR MOWER TO THIS SHOP!!!

Provided by YP.comTo make a long story short, BEWARE!!! Mableton Lawnmower Repair on Veterans Memorial, just east of the Floyd Road/Mableton Parkway intersection is there to scam people as opposed to service equipment. Their method is simple, destroy or disable your equipment, mower in my case, and the try to sell you one of their pieces of junk. Avoid this place as though it were a plaque. I nor any of my family have ever had a good experience with this "business".

Provided by YP.comI took my mower in and explained it was not working and that I had taken it apart and now it was not coiled but did not know what to do to fix it so brought it to them. He asked if it were working prior to that and of course I said yes. It was working before it broke! He said the recoil was $65 so I said fine if that is what fixes it. I told him I was going out of town and to call me and let me know what he thought would fix it. I never heard back. After a week, I called and he stated he had recoiled it and it was ready. I said great, am glad it is fixed and running good. He said he had not tried to start it. I asked how he knew it was fixed if he had not tried to start it? He got mad, started screaming that I just wanted it recoiled and said he would call me back. I waited two days and no call back. I called him back again and he started screaming at me that I owed him $65 , I told him I wanted to know if it were fixed. I would not have brought it in to recoil if that did not fix it. I had ask he call me while out of town to explain if there were other issues. He did not. He screamed at me, told me it would be close to $200 to fix it, wanted my address and wanted to take me to small claims court. I asked to speak to a manager and he hung up on me. I do not mind paying if getting good service but getting screamed at and having bi-polar reactions is not a suitable business reaction for me. My friend also stated when she took her mower in with the bagger, she picked it up and the bagger was no longer there. He screamed relentless at her and told her she did not know what she was talking about. This place has issues and should not be used by anyone.

Provided by YP.comThis spring I hosed my rider off when I got it out for the first time. It would not start after hosing it off so I took it in. I paid $75 for an estimate and they said it would need a new coil and they needed to rebuild the carburetor to get it to run. This would be an extra $300, more than a rebuilt engine would cost I later discovered after calling another repair service. I refused and ask to take it home. I walked around the corner and saw the owner spraying water into my engine. I ask what he was doing and he said his dog had urinated on it (must have been a 6ft dog to urinate all the way up in my engine). The light bulb went off in my head finally and I took it home and dried it out and it has ran like a top ever since. This man is a blatant con artist. He knew exactly what was wrong with the mower and tried to scam me. When I said I didnt want him to fix it he offered to buy it from me for $200. I also took a pusher to him last year and strangely enough he had to rebuild the carburetor on it, and it was an almost new mower...Hmmm Please do not use this repair man! After calling around to other shops the has all had similar complaints about the same shop Mableton Lawnmower & Go-Cart Shop. RUN!!!
