My baby is an 86 560SL, red on black, with 39k miles. My father kept her in the garage with a cover over her, he rarely drove her, he was a large man and preferred his SEL's. When I had her towed to Knoxville she had 27k miles, and her tags had been expired for four years. I have no idea how long it had been since she was even started. To make a long story short, the fifth mechanic that tried to get her running had it towed to his brother-n-laws mechanic, Don Gibson. Don had it running the night he got it, which was the evening before my father's funeral. I love this man! No one, other than Don or his son Dewayne, will ever touch my car again. They are strictly Mercedes, and they are the best.
