Provided by SuperpagesI have always loved this park of amusements, but ever since they started playing "The Matt Riggs Show" on the Nicest Guys In Town throughout the park, I enjoy it even more.

Provided by YP.comI am the kind of person who loves risky, fast, thrill rides. And being that kind of person, 6 flags rollercoasters were like riding a childish tea cup ride too me. especially the raging bull coaster. Everyone kept getting me excited for the raging bull and when I got on i was ready for the best ride of my life. But like every other ride (except for maybe V2) this was very slow except for the one drop. my advice: dont believe everything you hear.

Provided by YP.comDo not bring anything of value to six flags, or leave them in your car. Six Flags has no security cameras in their parking lot and there was no staff in the watch towers in the lot. Had over $500 worth of electronics stolen in our car from someone breaking in through the window (although it was closed). The $20 you pay for parking is decieving, do not count on security to protect/watch your car, or yourself.

Provided by YP.comThe previous writer is correct, there were some deaths on the Edge ride a while back at Six Flags. That is why it is no longer there. I believe that you take a risk in everything that you do but I have been going to Six Flags since I was a kid and I am now 37 years old and continue to go. I trust my own children to go on the rides but I am not saying that I don't worry. I trust that Six Flags does do inspections and will keep going and taking my kids.

Provided by YP.comWhen dealing with any kind of machinery accidents can happen (ie- people lose control of their cars everyday, but we don't point fingers at the road...). That is why everything has a disclaimer and warning nowadays. This writer has her parks all mixed up. A little girl did get her feet "cut off" or amputated when a cable broke and swung down, hitting her legs but that didn't occur at the park in Gurnee. Also you failed to mention why the demon was stuck upside down- there was a power failure to the whole area (much of Gurnee). Rollercoasters cannot run without electricity- that is why they shut them down during stormy weather/lightening storms. The fire department was called, responded quickly, and retrieved all riders safely off the coaster (and yes it took awhile, but no one had serious injuries). Also the experience of deaths on the "edge"- this must have happened at another park also. There is no ride named the edge in Gurnee. Before you write a review on such a touchy subject, it wouldn't hurt to get your story straight.

Provided by YP.comThis park has gone down hill for years. When Mariott owned it there was good food and daily inspections to the rides.
Now the food is inedible and they have problems with the rides each and every season.
A year ago people were stuck upside down on the Demon. Took hours to get them down. Not to mention the deaths on the Edge.
It is thrilling to take your life in your own hands..but when a young girl lost her feet on the roundup..I decided Cedar Point was safer. And Cedar Point also has good food.
